Hi guys I realise it’s been a while since I did my last Birch Box review, so I figured for my next post I’d share with you what goodies I received this month.
This month’s design is by far my favourite I’ve received with them. The design is a beautifully painted marble effect with pinks, purples and yellows and as always has some incredible goodies!
Birch Box defiantly had summer in mind when they created this box, as the first product I received was a Manna Kadar multipurpose powder (RRP £15*) in the shade Trifecta. I opted for this shade as I prefer a more nude/neutral tone with my makeup. After a quick swatch this product is very creamy and not overly pigmented. The fall out was minimal (if any) and buildable to a beautiful almost copper brown.
Balance Me Congested Skin Serum (RRP £16*)
The Natural Skincare company are fantastic with creating amazing 100% natural products for your body. I’ve used this product before and words cannot describe how great this product is. The Balance Me serum is specifically designed to help prevent breakouts, the formal also includes Aloe Vera which also helps to not only heal the skin, but reduce redness and refine pores. Did I mention it’s scented? The serum also has a beautiful mint/rose scent that is absolutely divine!
What’s In It For Me Shower Scrub (RRP £7*)
I’ve not heard of this product before but on first impressions I believe it could give Dove a run for its money. This body wash scub is created with walnut shells to help rejuvenate and exfoliate the skin. A lovely sweet scent of almond, jasmine and orange is just what the doctor ordered.
Percy & Reed Firm Session Hairspray (RRP £12.50*)
When it comes to Hairspray I normally swear by L’O’real Elnett or Tressemè, so I was hesitant to try this product at first. Boy was I wrong. This product doesn’t clump, doesn’t leave my hair with that sticky residue nor does it feel like I’m wearing a whole can. I can style my hair and feel reassured it will hold, especially as it’s specifically designed to be humidity resistant!
Marcelle B.B Cream (£25.50*)
Ladies words cannot describe how freaking happy I am to have been given this product! I was hesitant to buy this product myself as the price is pretty hefty but I’ve heard such good things about it. I love using B.B creams especially when the weather is humid, for me it simply means my skin doesn’t get clogged up, nor does my makeup end up running down my face. I’ve spoken openly about having sensitive skin in the past, and if you’re like me you’ll be pleased to know this cream is not only oil free, perfume free but also hypoallergenic. Yes, my beautiful ladies that’s right! This product is defiantly going to be a beauty must-have.
I hope you enjoyed my Birch Box review and reading about all the amazing products I’ve got this month. I’ve tried linking as many products as I can, however it seems the What’s In It For Me body scrub was a Birch Box exclusive, and so I’m unable to find a link directly. Have you also subscribed to Birch Box, did you receive the same gifts or something different? Let me know your thoughts down below!
