Revlon Colorstay Mousse

Beauty

Hey everyone, I’m currently writing this whilst also getting ready for an event I’m going to tonight. If your like me and are also extra nosey about people’s squeduals, then perhaps I’ll write a separate blog post about the event later.

I’m currently trying to get ready for my event, and I thought I’d use a new item I picked up at my local Boots. The new Revlon Colorstay eyebrow brown mousse.

The stick was only £7.99 and they did have a variety of shades available (brown, brown and brown.) I’ll admit I was definatly intrigued to try this, as the application looks completely unique and something not seen very much on today’s market.

Using the application did become quite tricky, (and for a moment I was seriously blonde) in trying to figure out how it actually works. It wasn’t until after a few minutes of “What the F”, and it’s broken?” That I realised your ment to twist the nozzle to release the liquid DUH!

The mousse came out quite thick and it didn’t separate, or spread on the brush like I expected it to. This ment it was quite tricky to spread the mousse, to give my eyebrows a fuller coverage/fuller brow effect.

The bristles on the brush are a plastic and very short, meaning the mousse starts to clump resulting it a lumpy eyebrow. On the other hand, the end result is really nice, and it does give a fuller eyebrow effect.

The Revlon Colorstay is a great purchase provided your brows are already nicely shaped. For me I didn’t particularly enjoy this product as much as I wanted to. It was tricky to bend to the shape of your brow, and the applicator became too clogged up even after one use. Next time I’m just going to use my old faithful pencil instead.

Have you tried using this product, or can you recommend something similar? Let me know down below.
